This image was created using photoshop by using the masking tool to combine two images from my elements of art project with a portrait of me. The process of doing this requires to place the images behind the portrait, placing a mask on the image of me, then using the brush tool to reveal the image behind my face. I chose the top image because I felt the glass pane would blend in nicely with my face. I chose the picture of the guitar because I like the way the lines led up to my face and the hole it created in my neck area. The final adjustment I made was altered the curves of the image to create a greater contrast between the light on my face and the darkness of the rest of the image.
