Black and White Self Portrait
To create the self portrait first I had a picture taken of me outside using a film camera. The film was then taken out of the camera and placed into a wrapping. I then took this to the dark room and placed the film with my picture in it and placed it just below the light to display it below. First I used a test strip of silver halide photo paper where the image would be then placed the light timer for 5 seconds. I then developed it and found that it was a good amount of time so I took a bigger piece of paper that would fit the whole image and laced it for the same amount of time under the light. I then developed it and let it sit overnight. The next day I scanned it to get the image that you see above.
