Digital Handcoloring
The digital handcoloring was one of my favorite projects to do. I used a picture that I had taken for the Elements of Art project. My goal with the digital handcoloring was to make certain parts of it stand out while leaving other parts in the background. I started by changing the picture to black and white. The second step was to select colors for the objects I wanted to stand out. In my case, I tried to stay as close as possible to the original colors of the picture. Finally, I chose to pick the objects in sort of a sporadic fashion so that they were not too close or too far apart. I was really pleased with the end result because of the big contrast in colors between the pool balls and the background.
